Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe a secure environment for both staff and customers. This role requires strong observational skills, a proactive approach to security, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing laws and company policies.

Duties

Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the venue to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
Check identification of patrons to ensure compliance with age restrictions.
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and assist in investigations as needed.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and any relevant communications.

Experience

Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective reporting and interaction with patrons.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
