Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our dual branded Marriott hotel. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and delivering exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant or hotel experience, and a passion for culinary excellence. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a vibrant hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the food and beverage team to deliver outstanding customer service
Assist in managing team schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimize efficiency.
Support staff in serving guests courteously and professionally
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in accordance with health regulations
Collaborate with management to develop menu offerings and optimise operational procedures
Handle guest feedback professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

Proven experience in a hotel environment
Supervising experience with demonstrated team management capabilities
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team
Strong organisational skills
Experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
