About the Role

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both cars and vans, with a particular focus on engine work and day-to-day mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on cars and vans.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
Perform engine repairs, rebuilds, and replacements where required.
Replace and repair components such as brakes, clutches, suspension systems, and timing belts.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
Always follow health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic working on cars and light commercial vehicles (vans).
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Excellent knowledge of engine repairs and mechanical systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
Relevant automotive qualifications are desirable.
