Baldan Ltd is a London-based Liner Agent & Freight Forwarding Company with over 45 years of experience in global shipping.
We specialise in RoRo, Flat Rack, and Container shipping, handling a wide range of cargo including vehicles, machinery, project cargo, and more.
Our services span RoRo Shipping, Break Bulk, Project Cargo, Air Freight, Haulage, Export, and Import, providing tailored logistics solutions to our international clients.

Role Description

We are looking for a Freight Forwarder (Export Clerk) – RoRo Liner Service Team to join our growing operations.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in London.

The successful candidate will be part of our dedicated liner services team, focusing on RoRo cargo and supporting day-to-day shipping operations. Responsibilities include:

Coordinating export bookings and cargo documentation
Managing customer and supplier communications
Ensuring smooth end-to-end cargo handling and vessel operations
Supporting the development of our liner agency services in the UK market
Delivering exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in freight forwarding, exports, or liner agency operations
Knowledge of RoRo, Flat Rack, or Container shipping
Strong understanding of freight transportation and logistics processes
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in MS Office and industry-related software
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Desirable Skills

Experience in RoRo liner service operations (booking, documentation, customer liaison)
Sales communication and telephone etiquette
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle operational challenges
Previous experience liaising with shipping lines, ports, or terminal operators
