Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Navigator/Receptionist to join our healthcare team For 15 hours a week. This vital role involves providing exceptional administrative support and guiding patients through their care journey. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth operational flow. Prior office and administrative experience are highly desirable, alongside a compassionate approach to patient interaction.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner, creating a positive first impression
Manage incoming calls, directing enquiries appropriately and providing accurate information
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient bookings efficiently
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care pathways
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times
Support other administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the practice

Qualifications

Previous office experience is essential, demonstrating organisational skills and professionalism
Administrative experience within a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
Proficient in using standard office software programmes (e.g., MS Office)
Compassionate attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding patient service
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining a friendly demeanour
