Parts and Returns Assistant

Location: BD4 6HN
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm, with Sundays worked on a rota basis

About Us

We are one of the UK's leading suppliers of flat-pack furniture and household products. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our Parts and Returns Department.

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on role supporting both our Returns and Parts functions. You will be responsible for processing returns, supplying replacement parts, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with product quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Assess returned goods and determine whether items can be resold, salvaged, or disposed of.
Process customer refunds and maintain accurate records.
Pick, pack, and dispatch replacement parts accurately and efficiently.
Maintain stock organisation and inventory accuracy.
Assist with quality checks on products and incoming stock.
Provide feedback on new product samples, packaging, assembly, and product quality.
Identify recurring faults and support improvements to reduce returns and enhance customer satisfaction.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible, proactive, and willing to support different areas of the department.
Previous experience in returns, warehouse, stock control, parts fulfilment, or quality control would be beneficial but is not essential.

What We Offer

Starting pay of £13.00 per hour.
Salary review upon successful completion of probation.
Full training provided.
