Hours: 25 hours per week, including alternate weekends

Glenholme Senior Living is seeking a reliable, organised, and hardworking Housekeeper to join the team at Thimbleby Court in Horncastle. This important role helps ensure the home maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control, creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

About Thimbleby Court

Thimbleby Court is a warm and welcoming residential care home for older adults in Horncastle. We provide person-centred care that focuses on comfort, dignity, safety, and wellbeing in a homely environment. The housekeeping team plays a vital role in maintaining high standards that directly impact residents' quality of life.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
Cleaning resident bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and staff facilities
Following infection prevention and control procedures at all times
Ensuring cleaning equipment is used and stored safely
Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly
Supporting laundry duties when required
Assisting in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
Working as part of a team to ensure housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard

What We're Looking For

A positive and caring attitude
Good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organisational and time-management skills
Previous housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or care experience is desirable but not essential

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.
