We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join our team at the Royal Hotel in Cumnock. This is a zero hours position, with typical working hours expected to be around 12–16 hours per week, depending on business needs. As part of our Housekeeping Team, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. Typical shifts will be scheduled between 7:00am and 3:00pm.

What You'll Be Doing:

Cleaning all public areas of the hotel to the highest standards.
Servicing and preparing guest bedrooms, ensuring rooms are immaculate and ready for arrivals.
Fulfilling special guest requests where required.
Completing room checks and associated housekeeping documentation.
Reporting maintenance issues promptly to the Duty Manager.
Identifying and reporting any concerns regarding guest misuse of hotel facilities.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment for guests and colleagues.
Working closely with the Head Housekeeper and Duty Manager to ensure exceptional presentation standards throughout the hotel.

What We're Looking For:

Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is desirable.
A reliable, hard-working, and punctual individual with a positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Good communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and busy periods as required.
