**FIXED SHIFTS 10-3 SATURDAY AND SUNDAY**

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various operational tasks within the café. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure food safety standards are maintained. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist customers with orders, answer queries, and provide exceptional service to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, snacks, or light meals as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety standards.
Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle basic maths calculations for transactions.
Restock supplies and ensure the café remains tidy throughout the shift.
Support team members with general duties such as cleaning tables, clearing dishes, and setting up for busy periods.
Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Ability to work well within a team and independently when required.
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues alike.
