Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing and motivating participants of various ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop coaching skills within a supportive organisation committed to fostering athletic excellence and personal growth.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to different age groups and ability levels
Demonstrate proper techniques for various gymnastic movements and routines, ensuring safety at all times
Monitor participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and equipment checks
Organise and supervise warm-up and cool-down activities before and after sessions
Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, confidence, and enjoyment of the sport
Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents or concerns during sessions
Collaborate with programme coordinators to develop new training programmes and activities

Qualification

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar disciplines
Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety procedures, and coaching methods
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants of all ages
Organised with the ability to plan engaging sessions that cater to diverse needs
A recognised coaching qualification or relevant sports coaching certification is desirable but not essential
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required
First aid certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary
MUST BE LEVEL 1 OR ABOVE
