Production Operative

Pay: From £12.71 - £13.43 per hour

Location: Comber

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

What you’ll be doing

Working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you’ll play a hands-on role in preparing and packing Mash Direct products to the highest standards of quality, safety and consistency.

Your role will include:

Preparing, washing and peeling vegetables
Operating production and packing machinery
Manual handling of prepared goods
Weighing, sealing and sleeving products
Carrying out quality checks across production lines
Meeting waste and efficiency targets
Basic clean-down of equipment
Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures

Working hours

You’ll work 5 nights, Monday to Friday, as part of a 45-hour working week. Shift times vary by department but a typical night looks like 5:30pm – 3:30am

Previous production or factory experience is an advantage, but not essential we’ll train you properly from day one.
