Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office environment. The successful candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various computer programmes. This position offers an opportunity to develop your organisational expertise within a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day administrative tasks to support office functions
Answering and directing phone calls with professional etiquette
Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation
Data entry and updating information using Microsoft Office, and various other platforms
Order stock for stores and support project-related purchasing
Handling correspondence via email and other communication channels
Supporting team members with administrative duties as required
Ensuring the office remains tidy, organised, and well-stocked with supplies

Requirements

Proven office experience or administrative background - Previous experience in the electrical or construction industry would be advantageous
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with accounting software is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good data entry accuracy
Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Clerical experience is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
