Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects, requiring hands-on work across different environments. The successful candidate will contribute to the successful completion of projects by performing a range of labouring duties, ensuring safety and efficiency on site. Experience in horticulture, gardening, or construction is highly desirable, along with mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools.

Duties

Assisting with landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticultural tasks to ensure the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces
Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems under supervision
Supporting construction activities including site preparation, material handling, and basic assembly tasks
Performing general maintenance tasks to uphold safety standards and maintain equipment functionality
Assisting with the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems and other outdoor infrastructure
Ensuring work areas are kept tidy and safe by clearing debris and organising materials
Supporting team members with various labouring duties as required to meet project deadlines

Experience

Previous experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or construction environments is preferred
Mechanical knowledge or experience working with machinery such as excavators is advantageous
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures is desirable
Knowledge of horticulture or gardening practices will be considered a plus
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
A good understanding of health and safety procedures on site is essential
