A day in the life of…
As our Hotel Reservations Agent, you’ll be responsible for handling the reservations process from start to finish for our guests. You’ll ensure every guest enjoys a seamless booking experience and that all reservations are accurate, up to date, and processed in line with brand standards.
This includes managing reservation systems, responding to guest enquiries via phone, email, and online channels, and liaising with other hotel departments to ensure smooth communication and service delivery. You’ll ensure all reservations are correctly recorded, amended where required, and confirmed in a timely manner.
You’ll also support with managing room availability, rates, and inventory controls, helping to maximise occupancy and revenue performance while maintaining excellent service standards.
This position is offered on a 1,248 annualised hours contract. This means your working hours are calculated over the course of the year rather than on a fixed weekly basis. Your shifts will be scheduled according to business needs, allowing flexibility during busier and quieter periods, while ensuring your total contracted hours are met across the year.

What do we need from you?
- Strong communication skills: You’ll confidently interact with guests, colleagues, and other departments, providing clear and professional information at all times
- Attention to detail: You’ll ensure all reservations are accurate, complete, and correctly updated, spotting and resolving discrepancies quickly
- Customer service focus: You’ll be passionate about delivering excellent guest experiences and handling enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Organisational skills: You’ll be able to manage multiple tasks, systems, and requests while maintaining accuracy under pressure
- IT systems confidence: You’ll be comfortable working with reservation systems and basic hotel technology
- Team collaboration: You’ll work effectively with colleagues across the hotel to ensure smooth operations and a consistent guest journey
