Key Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' roofing experience
- Proven experience in domestic pitched roofing, including tiling, slating, leadwork and general roofing repairs
- Experience surveying roofing projects and assessing work requirements
- Ability to lead teams and oversee day-to-day site operations
- Experience planning materials, managing orders and coordinating stock
- Full UK driving licence
- UTR and CIS registered
- Reliable, professional and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship

The Role
This position is ideal for a skilled roofer who is confident leading domestic roofing projects while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship, organisation and professionalism.
You will be responsible for carrying out roofing works, surveying projects, planning materials and overseeing operatives to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule. The successful candidate will also be comfortable taking responsibility for site visits in the absence of the Company Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out domestic pitched roofing works, including tiling, slating, leadwork and repairs
- Survey roofing projects and assess work requirements
- Plan, coordinate and manage materials and stock levels
- Lead and supervise roofing teams on-site
- Organise day-to-day site activities to ensure projects run efficiently
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Conduct site visits and manage projects independently when required
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in roofing
- Strong knowledge of domestic pitched roofing systems
- Roofing surveying experience
- Leadership and supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- UTR and CIS registration
- Professional, reliable and self-motivated approach
