We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our growing landscaping team at Landstruction.

This is a great opportunity for someone with grounds maintenance experience who takes pride in high-quality work and wants to progress within an award-winning company.

The role involves maintaining commercial landscaped sites across the North West to the highest standards throughout the year. If you enjoy working outdoors, have a keen eye for detail, and work well as part of a team, we’d love to hear from you.

Ground Maintenance Operative Responsibilities

As a Ground Maintenance Operative you will be maintaining professional commercial landscaping across the North West.

Key duties include:

Lawn mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, and general groundskeeping
Maintaining commercial landscapes, gardens, and outdoor spaces to a high standard
Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and seasonal bedding
Assisting with landscaping and soft landscaping projects
Weed control and pest management using safe working practices
Operating and maintaining landscaping machinery, power tools, mowers, trimmers, and ride-on equipment
Carrying out seasonal maintenance including leaf clearance, watering, and winter duties
Collecting and disposing of green waste responsibly
Completing routine safety checks and reporting hazards
Delivering excellent customer service while representing the company professionally on-site

Ground Maintenance Team Leader Requirements

Essential

Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, or garden maintenance
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
Experience using landscaping machinery and power tools desirable
CSCS card

Desirable

Full, clean UK driving licence
