The Role
We are looking for a Quality Process Technician to support quality assurance and process control across our manufacturing operations.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with industry standards, reducing defects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within production.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, analyse, and troubleshoot returned items
- Support customer returns (RMA) analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
- Provide technical support to customers and production teams
- Carry out in-process inspections and audits, including: First article inspection,Line audits & Random inspections
- Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) and monitor process capability
- Ensure compliance with IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001)
- Investigate non-conformances and identify root causes using: 8D, 5 Whys & Fishbone analysis
- Contribute to containment, corrective, and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve process issues
- Maintain compliance with health & safety requirements
- Support other departments as needed
About YouEssential Experience & Knowledge
- Experience in a PCBA or electronics manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and CAPA
- Knowledge of IPC standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, Gerbers, and BOMs

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
