Role: Year 4 Teacher
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (September - Easter 2027)
Salary: £32,916-£45,352 per annum (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)

About the role

At Heart of Supply, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly, dedicated and supportive Key Stage 2 team at a primary school in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.

This is a full-time, fixed-term temporary position commencing in September 2026 and continuing until Easter 2027. The successful teacher will take full responsibility for planning, preparation and assessment, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage pupils while supporting strong academic progress throughout the first two terms of the academic year.

The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about creating positive learning experiences and fostering a nurturing classroom environment. What you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with a minimum of 6 weeks' teaching experience in a UK primary school.
A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
Experience assessing pupil progress and using assessment outcomes to inform teaching and learning.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
A flexible, proactive approach and a genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
