Office Cleaner

Location: Durham, Tyne and Wear, Teesside.
Hours: Part-Time / Evening Shift
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional Office Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic office environment for staff and visitors.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and can work independently to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Vacuuming carpets and floor areas
Mopping hard floors
Dusting desks, furniture, and office equipment
Cleaning kitchens, break rooms, and staff areas
Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and toilets
Emptying bins and replacing liners
Cleaning internal glass, doors, and touchpoints
Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet tissue, and paper towels
Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
Following cleaning schedules and company procedures

Essential Requirements

Previous office cleaning or commercial cleaning experience preferred
Good attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable and punctual
Professional and trustworthy attitude
Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
Right to work in the UK

Desirable Skills

Experience using commercial cleaning equipment
Knowledge of COSHH regulations
Understanding of colour-coded cleaning systems
Experience working in professional office environments
