Block Management Accounts Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Block Management Accounts Manager to join our growing property and estate management team. You will take ownership of the financial management of a portfolio of residential developments, ensuring service charge accounts are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with both finance and estate management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage service charge budgets and year-end accounting records
Ensure timely service charge demands, including ad hoc and supplementary billing
Oversee year-end service charge accounts and liaise with external accountants
Manage credit control, including chasing arrears and maintaining strong cash flow
Process contractor payment runs and oversee supplier payments
Review, code, and upload invoices accurately
Ensure compliance with service charge legislation and RICS guidelines
Monitor financial performance and provide updates to the estate management team

About You

Strong experience in block management / service charge accounting
Excellent knowledge of RICS guidelines and relevant legislation
Confident managing budgets, accounts, and financial processes end-to-end
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
Experience supporting or supervising junior staff

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
