Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant dining environment, ensuring guests have memorable experiences. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the point of sale system
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any special requests or concerns
Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness of service areas throughout shifts
Handle payments accurately, including cash and card transactions
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards
Assist with setting up dining areas before service and cleaning after closing shifts

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new staff members
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
Basic knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous but not essential
