Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Volunteer Instructors to join our organisation. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to community development by sharing specialised knowledge and skills. The role involves engaging with participants, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting physical activity and well-being through organised programmes. The ideal candidate will have a background in sports coaching or teaching, along with a good understanding of anatomy, to effectively guide and motivate learners of all ages and abilities.

Responsibilities

Deliver structured coaching sessions or classes in various sports or physical activities
Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to different skill levels and age groups
Provide guidance on proper techniques and safety procedures during activities
Foster a supportive environment that encourages participation, confidence, and teamwork
Monitor participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback
Ensure all activities adhere to health and safety regulations
Collaborate with other instructors and programme coordinators to enhance programme quality
Maintain accurate records of attendance and programme outcomes

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching roles
Knowledge of human anatomy relevant to physical activity and injury prevention
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan engaging sessions
Excellent communication skills, capable of motivating diverse groups of learners
Passion for community engagement and promoting healthy lifestyles
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Relevant certifications in sports coaching or first aid are desirable but not essential
