Delivery Driver / Warehouse OperativeLocation: Daventry, Northamptonshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm

Pay: £13.00 per hour (£12.75 per hour during probation)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and physically fit Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our growing team in Daventry.This is a varied role that combines customer-facing deliveries with warehouse duties. You will be responsible for delivering food and drink products to schools, colleges, and workplace canteens, while also supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. If you enjoy being active, take pride in your work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverage products safely and efficiently to customer locations. Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Load and unload delivery vehicles.
Assist with warehouse replenishment and stock organisation.
Clean, repack, and process damaged stock.
Repackage multipack confectionery products.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence (essential).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a demanding environment.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.
The cost of the DBS check will be covered by the company.

What We Offer

Full-time, permanent position.
Immediate start available.
Starting rate of £12.75 per hour, increasing to £13.00 per hour after successful completion of a 3-month probation period.
Monday to Friday working pattern.
No weekend working.
All Bank Holidays off.
School holiday periods preferred for annual leave, making this role particularly suitable for parents and carers.
Company-funded DBS check.
Early starts with early finishes.
Friendly and supportive team environment.
