Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organised, and enthusiastic Office Junior to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career in administration and office support. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Responsibilities

Answering and directing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
Organising and maintaining physical and electronic filing systems
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events
Preparing documents, reports, and presentations as required
Supporting team members with various administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency
Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
Greeting visitors and providing exceptional customer service at all times

Skills

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Friendly and professional demeanour with a proactive attitude
Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is advantageous but not essential
Basic knowledge of office equipment such as printers, scanners, and telephones

Desirable

GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
Familiarity with office equipment and administrative systems.
Good written and spoken english
