Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our team as a Bar/Front of House supervisor. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area. Previous hospitality experience is a must as this is a supervisor position,. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry while working in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
Serve drinks and meals efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met
Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and service areas throughout shifts
Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing correct change when necessary
Assist with organising reservations and managing waiting lists during busy periods
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health & safety regulations
Support team members to deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is a must
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
