Full job description

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Housing team in Fleet. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting individuals to rebuild their lives, develop independence, and move forward positively.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support to clients, ensuring they feel safe, empowered, and equipped with the skills needed for independent living.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver tailored emotional, practical, and housing-related support to clients
Manage referrals, including interviewing and risk assessing new clients
Develop and review personalised support plans and risk assessments
Support clients to maintain tenancies and access welfare, health, and external services
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
Assist in managing rent, arrears, and tenancy compliance
Maintain accurate records, reports, and performance data
Facilitate group and one-to-one support sessions
Promote safeguarding, health & safety, and equality at all times
Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota

Essential skills and experience:

Experience working within a similar role or supporting vulnerable individuals
Strong understanding of safeguarding, support planning, and risk assessment
Knowledge of housing and welfare benefits systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good IT and administrative skills

Salary: £12,031.24 per annum

Hours: 17 hours across 3 days per week

Location: Fleet
