Site Address - Post Code - RG27 9FG - Bartley Way, Hook

Cleaning Days - Monday to Friday - 5 days per week

Hours per clean - 2hrs per clean - either 6-8am or 5-7pm

Start Date - ASAP

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or a background in commercial cleaning to contribute to a professional environment. The position is paid and requires a commitment to delivering exceptional hygiene standards consistently.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites.
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, fixtures, and fittings according to company standards.
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities.
Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Ensure all cleaning duties are carried out in a professional manner, maintaining confidentiality where required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking stable employment within the cleaning industry, committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene across various commercial environments.
