Full job description

Job Purpose

The Exhibition Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business and developing existing client relationships to sell exhibition stand design, build, event services, sponsorship opportunities, and related products. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, managing client accounts, and delivering excellent customer service throughout the exhibition and events process.

Key Responsibilities

· Sales & Business Development

· Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound calls, networking, referrals, and industry research.

· Generate leads and convert prospects into customers.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, event organisers, agencies, and corporate clients.

· Conduct client meetings, presentations, and virtual sales consultations.

· Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.

· Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.

Account Management

· Manage a portfolio of existing clients and maximise repeat business.

· Understand client objectives and recommend suitable exhibition solutions.

· Maintain regular contact with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in B2B sales, exhibition sales, events, or a related industry.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Excellent relationship-building abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Desirable

Experience within exhibition stand design and build.

Knowledge of trade shows, conferences, and live events.

Existing network of contacts within the events industry.

Understanding of stand construction and exhibition logistics.

Ideal for: Someone with experience in exhibition stand design and build, event services, or B2B commercial sales who enjoys developing client relationships and delivering creative exhibition solutions.

Pay: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
