Carry out general maintenance and repair work throughout the care home.
Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks.
Ensure all health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Perform routine checks on equipment, lighting, fire alarms, water temperatures, and building safety systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Maintain outdoor areas including gardens, pathways, fences, and car parks.
Assemble furniture and move equipment when required.
Liaise with external contractors and monitor their work on site.
Keep accurate maintenance records and report defects to management.
Ensure tools and maintenance areas are kept clean and secure.
Support infection prevention and control procedures within the home.
Assist during inspections and audits such as by the Care Quality Commission.
Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, and care home policies at all times.

Pay: £12.71-£13.40 per hour
