The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work with our existing client base, we are looking to expand our team with an Intermediate or Senior level to join us as a Measured Building Surveyor, to be based in Central or West London area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid industry experience who is looking to take the next step in their career — gaining greater responsibility on projects, developing technical expertise, and working within a highly experienced team. You’ll be involved in delivering a wide range of survey and data capture projects, while also building your capability in advanced workflows such as Scan-to-BIM and asset data capture for CAFM systems.

Key responsibilities:
· You will be responsible for delivering a range of measured survey and data capture activities, including:
3D laser scanning
- Scan-to-CAD outputs
- Scan-to-BIM workflows
- Topographical surveys
- General arrangement surveys using handheld laser scanner
- Area measurement surveys
To process site data using n4ce and Leica Cyclone
To create 2D drawings including:
- General arrangement plans, floor plans, reflective ceiling plans
- Elevations, sections
- Topographical survey drawings, site plans
As Surveyor, you will also:
- Take increasing ownership of projects and deliverables
- Work with other Surveyors on complex schemes
- Engage directly with clients on site where appropriate
- Contribute ideas to improve workflows and delivery
Essential Experience/ requirements:
· Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Land and Building Surveys
· Experience working with modern survey equipment and data capture techniques
· Strong understanding of survey accuracy, data quality, and deliverables
· Clean driving license
· Be willing to travel throughout the UK and work flexible hours where required
· Ability to work within company policies and quality management systems
Skills:
· Strong organisational and project management capability
· Good IT skills, including MS Office
· Ability to interpret data and produce clear, accurate outputs
· High attention to detail, good organisation, and good verbal and written communication skills
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Exceptional customer care focus with a professional approach
· Ability to take ownership of your own work and development
Qualifications:
· Degree, HNC/D, or equivalent in a relevant discipline
· Working towards (or interested in) RICS accreditation
Desirable Experience/ requirements:
· Creating and auditing CAD drawings using point cloud data
· Experience manipulating and auditing Revit models using point cloud data
· Experience using Leica total stations, GNSS and laser scanners
· Experience of project collaboration using Common Data Environments
· Interest in asset data capture and CAFM systems
· CSCS card and/or enhanced DBS (beneficial)
