Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Office/Accounts Assistant to support our administrative and financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various clerical tasks, maintaining organised records, and assisting with account-related activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and experience in office administration to contribute to a professional environment. Responsibilities

Managing daily administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing basic reports.
Organising appointments, meetings, and maintaining schedules.
Handling phone enquiries with professional etiquette and directing calls appropriately.
Utilising Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to prepare documents, spreadsheets, and emails.
Supporting the team with general clerical duties to ensure smooth office operations.
Ensuring all documentation complies with organisational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Office experience or administrative experience is not essential. Full training will be given.
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with accounting software such as Xero is desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks.
Good phone etiquette and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and organisational ability are crucial for success in this role. This position provides an engaging work environment where organisational excellence is valued, offering opportunities for professional development within a supportive team setting.
