Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various operational tasks within the café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and capable of multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality standards are met
Assist customers with orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including counters, tables, and equipment
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as required
Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Uphold food safety standards at all times by following hygiene protocols and health regulations
Support team members with general duties such as cleaning, organising stock, and assisting during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar food service role is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable
Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment
Flexibility to work during peak hours and weekends
