Full job description

Staple Bakery is a neighbourhood bakery in Easton, Bristol, making quality sourdough, pastries, and baked goods from scratch. We opened earlier this year and we're growing -which means we need another pair of skilled hands in the kitchen.

We're looking for a baker who knows their way around sourdough and bread production. Pastry experience would be a huge benefit. You'd be joining a tight-knit team and have a lot of creative opportunities given our relatively small team.

What you'll be doing

Bread and sourdough production - mixing, shaping, proofing, baking
Maintaining high and consistent standards every shift
Following SOPs and meeting our standards of production

What we're looking for

Solid experience in bread and sourdough baking - you understand fermentation, timing, and environment
Pastry baking experience is a strong plus
Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable with early starts
Someone who takes pride in the product and works well in a small team

The details

Shifts are 10 hour blocks (so a 10 hour contract would be 1 day a week rather than split across 2)
Starting at 10–20 hours per week (with potential to grow)
£13/hr
Monday/Tuesdays
