Supervisor – Up to £18.21 per hour including tronc

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Supervisor. As a Supervisor at Steak and Company, you will play a key role in leading and inspiring our service team to deliver exceptional hospitality and ensure smooth operations during each shift. If you have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Open and close the restaurant according to established procedures, including setting up and closing down equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organisation, and securing the premises
Supervise and train front-of-house staff on proper service standards, including greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
Give knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations
Take orders accurately and efficiently, utilising our point-of-sale system
Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests' tables
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth service flow
Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximise revenue
Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including POS systems and inventory management
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Benefits:

Up to £18.21 hourly starting salary and a raise to up to £18.71 after probation- inclusive of tronc
