Job Description:

Wiltech Acoustics — now proudly part of Rehlko (formerly Kohler Energy) — is entering an exciting phase of growth and investment. Now integrated into Rehlko’s global energy-resilience group, Wiltech continues to build on its reputation as a leading UK specialist in acoustic canopies, generator enclosures, and industrial noise-control engineering.

Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. Laser Operative

This is a superb opportunity for a Laser Operative to join the business through this rapid period of growth.

Responsibilities:

Setting and Operating Laser Machines: Safely and efficiently set up and operate CNC press brake machinery to meet production requirements.
Inspecting Finishing Products: Ensure all finished products meet quality and accuracy standards by conducting thorough inspections.
Material Handling: Set up and load materials onto the CNC machine to ensure smooth production flow.
Monitoring and Adjustments: Continuously monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Working from Engineering Drawings: Interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications to produce components as per the requirements.
General Duties:
Support with loading, unloading, cleaning, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Inspect parts and materials using a variety of inspection methods
Use engineering measuring tools (e.g. Verniers, callipers, micrometres)
Hours: Nights 10pm till 6am (30% shift allowance).

Strong attention to detail and reliability
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Competent in using engineering measurement equipment
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Flexible and willing to support various departments as needed
Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
