The Role

As Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the sales function and acting as a key point of contact for customers. You will help ensure customer orders are processed efficiently while providing timely updates and resolving day-to-day issues.

Key Responsibilities

Processing customer orders and raising order confirmations.
Maintaining accurate customer and product information within company systems.
Communicating directly with customers regarding orders, deliveries, pricing, product availability and general enquiries.
Providing customers with delivery updates, ETAs and information relating to delivery schedule changes.
Liaising with internal departments including:
Finance regarding credits and invoicing queries
Operations regarding customer delivery and service requests
Purchasing regarding product availability and pricing.
Transport regarding deliveries, collection requests and customer delivery requirements.
Technical regarding customer complaints, specifications and quality-related matters.
Investigating and resolving customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
Preparing and distributing customer order summaries and reports.
Supporting marketing activities including managing customer email campaigns and Mailchimp communications.
Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a trusted point of contact.
Providing general administrative support to the wider commercial team.

Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
