Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable professional to join our team as a bricklayer. This role involves working on various construction and maintenance projects, requiring a versatile skill set and a strong commitment to safety and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with masonry, carpentry, roofing, welding, and other related tasks, contributing to the successful completion of diverse building projects. Responsibilities

Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out masonry, carpentry, roofing, and welding tasks efficiently and safely.
Assist with bricklaying and masonry work, ensuring precise alignment and adherence to project specifications.
Operate power tools safely and effectively for various construction activities.
Support roofing installations and repairs, ensuring waterproofing and structural integrity.
Perform welding tasks in accordance with safety standards and technical requirements.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Assist in the preparation of materials and site setup as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, or welding is highly desirable.
Knowledge of construction safety procedures and regulations.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Physical fitness to perform manual labour for extended periods.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are advantageous but not essential.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements.
A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to expand their expertise across multiple trades within the construction industry. Applicants should demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a proactive approach to their work.
