Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing front-desk responsibilities, supporting administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly efficient, and comfortable working with various computer programmes. This position offers an engaging environment where organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Duties

Welcome visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer phone calls promptly, using proper phone etiquette, and direct enquiries appropriately
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
Maintain appointment schedules and organise meetings using calendar software
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Handle administrative paperwork such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
Support the team with general administrative duties to ensure efficient office operations
Assist with invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping activities as required
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times

Experience

Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed and data entry accuracy are essential
Demonstrable experience in clerical roles involving phone etiquette and customer service
Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and telephony systems is desirable

This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to utilise their organisational talents within a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a proactive approach to their work.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mawnan TR11 5PQ
