Full job description

Overview
I confirm that we are currently looking for a post for a Legal Secretary to work for one of the Partners in a very busy Solicitors practice.

The right candidate must have the following skills

Excellent communication skills at all levels
Good typing skills
Be self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile
Be a team player as well as being able to work independently
Good organisational and listening skills
Friendly and professional
Ability to learn quickly and take on responsibility
Ability to work with Microsoft and Case Management Systems
Area of work – Conveyancing, Wills and Probate.

The post is as Secretary for one of the Partners but will work very closely with the Partners’ other Secretary, Donna Nelson, who is a very experienced conveyancer and Legal Secretary.

Job Type – Full Time

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch

Holiday entitlement – 20 days, plus the day after each Bank Holiday with the exception of the first May Day Bank Holiday. The office closes between Christmas and New Year for which the candidate will be paid.

Salary – commensurate with experience.

Work Location – Office based at 240 High Street, Northallerton, DL7 8LU.
