Full job description

We are looking for a reliable, responsible and organised person to support the day-to-day running of a warehouse and a collection counter operation.

This role would suit someone who can work independently, take ownership of their tasks and keep things moving without needing to be chased. The successful person must also be trusted to open up and close the premises when required.

Main duties include:

Opening up and closing the premises when required
Picking and packing customer orders accurately
Checking stock levels and keeping the warehouse organised
Preparing orders for delivery and customer collection
Managing customer collections professionally
Using the computer system to process orders, check stock and update information
Carrying out basic admin tasks
Supporting general warehouse duties when required
Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised

The ideal person will be:

Reliable, punctual and responsible
Trustworthy and able to work independently
Able to open up and close the premises responsibly
Organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable using a computer
Confident dealing with customers
Physically able to handle warehouse duties
Willing to learn and help wherever needed

Experience in warehouse work, basic computer skills would be useful, but attitude, reliability and trustworthiness are more important.

Pay: £16,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
