Joiner

Wynne Construction is seeking a skilled and reliable Joiner to join our construction team, predominantly working across sites in North West Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse range of construction projects, carrying out high-quality joinery work while maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and professionalism.

The Role – Joiner

As a Joiner, you will undertake a wide range of 1st fix, 2nd fix and final fix joinery activities across our construction projects. Working closely with Site Managers and Project Managers, you will play an important role in ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

· Undertaking 1st fix joinery works including roof structures, joists, and stud walls

· Carrying out 2nd fix joinery including kitchen fitting, installation of internal doors, skirting boards, and architraves

· Completing final fix works including ironmongery, snagging, bath panels, and kitchen plinths

· Working closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to deliver works in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and programme requirements

· Operating machinery, plant, and tools safely and correctly, using all required safety devices and following company procedures

· Ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety legislation, company policies, and site rules at all times

· Handling, storing, and maintaining materials, equipment, and tools in a safe and responsible manner

· Maintaining clean, safe, and tidy work areas upon completion of tasks

· Reporting any health and safety concerns, accidents, incidents, or near misses to site management

· Attending site safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions as required

· Supporting, supervising, and assisting apprentice joiners to aid their development and maintain quality standards

· Contributing to the delivery of high-quality workmanship across all stages of construction projects

What We’re Looking For

· NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Joinery

· Proven experience carrying out site-based joinery works within the construction industry

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving a high-quality finish

· Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider site team

· Strong commitment to Health and Safety and safe working practices

· Ability to work effectively in busy and fast-paced site environments

· Full UK driving licence

While not essential, the following are desirable:

· Experience working on commercial, education, healthcare, residential, or public sector construction projects

· Experience supporting or supervising apprentice joiners

· Relevant health and safety qualifications

· Appropriate valid CSCS Card
