Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor/Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food and beverage service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team, ensure high standards of service, and maintain smooth operational flow in a busy bar setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar staff, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to company standards.
Lead team management efforts by training, mentoring, and motivating staff to achieve performance targets.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all areas of the bar and kitchen operations.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till efficiently.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and oversee inventory control to prevent shortages or wastage.
Maintain a clean, organised work environment in accordance with hygiene standards.
Assist in organising special events or promotions to enhance the venue’s reputation.

Qualifications

Supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment, ideally in a bar or similar setting.
Experience in team management with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving procedures and hospitality standards.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
Barista experience is advantageous but not essential .
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and organisational skills.
