Company Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Plumber to join our Site Services Team at Potters Resorts Hopton-on-Sea, helping to maintain the exceptional standards expected across our award-winning 5 Star Resort.
This is a primarily Hopton-on-Sea based role, however from time to time, with prior consultation and reasonable notice, you may be asked to support specific projects or maintenance works at our sister resort, Potters Resorts Five Lakes in Essex. This offers the opportunity to gain experience across two unique resort environments whilst remaining based at Hopton.
As an integral member of our Site Services Team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems across the resort, ensuring our guests and team members enjoy a safe, comfortable and high-quality environment.
Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across the resort.

Diagnosing faults efficiently and implementing safe, practical and cost-effective solutions.

Installing, repairing and maintaining a variety of plumbing systems and fixtures.

Undertaking general plumbing works including, but not limited to:

Radiator and radiator valve replacements

Leak detection and repairs
-
Installation and maintenance of sinks, baths and showers
-
Pipework repairs and modifications
-
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with current regulations and health & safety requirements.

Communicating effectively with colleagues and managers regarding project progress and maintenance requirements.

Supporting wider site maintenance activities where required.

Occasionally assisting with planned works at Potters Resorts Five Lakes following prior discussion and agreement.
We’re looking for someone who:

Holds relevant plumbing qualifications and has proven hands-on experience.

Has excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrates a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

Is self-motivated, reliable and capable of managing their own workload.

Enjoys working as part of a team whilst also being confident working independently.

Has a flexible and positive approach to work.

Understands the importance of health, safety and compliance.

Takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards.
Hours of Work
-
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
-
Monday to Friday.
-
Participation in an emergency call-out rota may be required, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating is essential
A driver’s licence is desirable
