Job Introduction

Main Duties of the Role:

Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all by delivering a high-quality, industry-relevant Painting & Decorating instruction to learners and apprentices aged 14–19+, supporting their practical skill development in painting & decorating. The role includes mentoring students, maintaining high health and safety standards, managing the workshop area and stock control, and contributing to the college’s educational success.

Essential Requirement:

Level 2 in painting and decorating or demonstrate significant industry experience
GCSE level standard education or equivalent (maths & English)
Proven, recent industry experience in Painting & Decorating
Experience of using a wide range of Painting & Decorating techniques, materials, and tools
Experience of working to current industry standards and health & safety regulations
Experience of liaising with suppliers and procuring materials at competitive rates.
