Landscape Team Leader

Salary: £30,000–£40,000+ per year (DOE)

Bonus: Performance bonus available

Location: York & Surrounding Areas

GMLYork Ltd is an ambitious landscaping and grounds maintenance company based in York. We’re growing quickly and are looking for an experienced Landscape Team Leader to help deliver high-quality projects while leading a small team on site.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing projects from start to finish while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

Projects include:

Garden transformations
Porcelain & sandstone patios
Fencing
Decking
Turfing & artificial grass
Driveways
Commercial landscaping
Grounds maintenance
Pressure Washing

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a small team on site
Deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Communicate professionally with customers
Organise materials and daily workload
Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment
Ensure sites are left clean and presentable
Report progress directly to the Director

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:

Minimum 3 years’ landscaping experience
Experience leading a team
Strong knowledge of patios, paving and fencing
Excellent attention to detail
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to solve problems on site
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

Desirable

Trailer licence
CSCS Card
Machine operator experience
First Aid qualification
