Location: Gloucester

Contract: Part Time, 24 hours per week

About The Role:

Your role will be dedicated to working with our client who has a Spinal Cord Injury, living in their own home. Working to build a professional, working, relationship and supporting them with their activities at home or in the community.

Day to day you will empower the client to lead a fulfilling life. They love being outdoors, going to festivals and eating out. The client has returned to work on a part-time basis so part of your role will be to support them there.

Experience working with Spinal Cord Injury is preferred but not necessary as full training will be provided for the right candidate upon joining our small and friendly team.

This post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

We are a specialist complex care provider committed to ensuring that each of our clients receives the best possible care and support to live independently in the community and maximise their quality of life.

We believe that you are key to our clients’ success and so we offer a great employment package including training, supervisions and support along with an excellent rate of pay.

Hours of Work:

Long Day – 8am – 8pm (Mon – Sun)

Sleeping Nights – 8pm – 8am (Mon – Sun)

You must be available to work a minimum of one 24 hour shift per week (Long day into a sleeping night)

Rates of Pay:

£17.00 per hour – Day shift (Mon - Fri)

£18.00 per hour – Day shift (Sat - Sun)

£18.00 per hour - Night shift (Mon - Fri) (8pm - 10pm and 6am - 8am)

£19.00 per hour - Night shift (Sat - Sun) (8pm - 10pm and 6am - 8am)

Ten pound per hour - Sleeping nights (Mon - Sun) 8pm - 10pm and 6am - 8am paid at night rate

£12.50 per hour – Training

About You:

Required

The right candidates will be professional, reliable, respectful, proactive, flexible, trustworthy and committed. A keen, positive individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for working in care
A full, clean driving licence is essential and you must be prepared to drive the lady’s wheelchair accessible vehicle
You will be working in the lady’s own home and would need to be respectful of her space and privacy
We ask that all applicants are Non Smokers as requested by the client.
