Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Care Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home specialising in assisted living and dementia care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a dedicated team of care professionals. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.

Duties

Oversee the overall management of the care home, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of care.
Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to individual residents’ needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
Supervise and support a team of care staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management to ensure excellent service delivery.
Ensure medication administration is carried out accurately and in accordance with legal and organisational policies.
Maintain compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality standards.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate resident care effectively.
Monitor budgets, manage resources efficiently, and oversee staffing rotas to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
Promote a positive environment that fosters dignity, independence, and well-being for residents.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in service quality through staff development programmes and feedback mechanisms.

Requirements

Proven experience in nursing home or residential care settings specialising in senior care or home care services.
Strong background in assisted living, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and medication administration.
Demonstrable management experience with supervising teams within a care home environment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to nursing homes and adult social care standards.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
Compassionate approach with a genuine commitment to providing person-centred care.
Relevant qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent are preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a supportive environment committed to delivering exceptional senior and dementia care services.

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
