Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Provide attentive guest service, addressing any questions or concerns courteously.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of tables, utensils, and service areas.
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
Handle payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to inform guests effectively.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and serving standards.
Basic culinary understanding and kitchen experience are advantageous.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
Outstanding guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in order-taking and presentation.
Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
