Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will ensure that all spaces are spotless, well-maintained, and inviting for staff, clients, and visitors alike. Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
Handle janitorial tasks like trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
Assist with custodial responsibilities including restocking supplies and ensuring cleaning stations are organized and stocked
Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
Perform industrial cleaning tasks in specialized areas when required, including the use of heavy-duty cleaning equipment
Maintain a high level of safety awareness by following proper procedures for handling chemicals and operating cleaning machinery
Support residential painting or minor maintenance projects as needed to enhance facility appearance
Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies

Experience

Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic!
Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, or polishing is highly desirable
Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices will set you apart
Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous
Previous porter or facilities support experience can be beneficial for understanding the scope of custodial responsibilities
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
