Overview
We are seeking a responsible and caring Dog Walker/Pet Sitter to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional care and companionship to pets while their owners are away or busy. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle active pets. This position offers an opportunity to work in a flexible environment, ensuring pets receive the attention and exercise they need for their well-being.

Responsibilities

Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and comfort during outings
Provide pet sitting services in clients’ homes, including feeding, administering medication, and engaging in playtime
Monitor pet behaviour and report any concerns or health issues to owners promptly
Maintain a clean and organised environment during visits
Follow specific care instructions provided by pet owners
Build strong relationships with clients through reliable and compassionate service
Handle pet-related equipment such as leashes, harnesses, and toys with care

Experience

Strong knowledge of animal care routines and health needs
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners
Physical strength for heavy lifting when handling larger animals or equipment
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to different pets' personalities and requirements

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about animal welfare who enjoy working outdoors and engaging with pets daily. Applicants should be organised, dependable, and enthusiastic about providing top-quality care to furry friends.

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
